This measure aims to reduce the company\u2019s carbon footprint by reorganising the company\u2019s general mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Considering the country\u2019s special situation in that public transport is free, employees should make more use of it by changing their consumption habits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"type-numerotation\"><span class=\"type-numerotation-span visually-hidden\"><\/span>Analysis and definition of the company\u2019s decarbonisation project<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Identify the company\u2019s current mobility situation<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Analyse the means of transport used by employees for their home-work commute as well as business travel: e.g. carry out an anonymous survey of all employees<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Find out about currently available means of transport for the home-work commute as well as business travel such as trains, buses, company vehicles, personal vehicles, walking, cycling, carpooling, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quantify transport<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Definition of future needs<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Define the general objective of the company\u2019s mobility<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop a basic concept including the employees\u2019 specific actions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create a working group on mobility at work, together with your employees<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In terms of passenger transport, find out more about ecomobility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Install secure parking and charging facilities for electric bikes\/scooters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"type-numerotation\"><span class=\"type-numerotation-span visually-hidden\"><\/span>Identification of a solution to meet the company\u2019s needs <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Implementation of the company\u2019s general mobility concept<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li> Use the <a href=\"https:\/\/mconcept.lu\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/mconcept.lu\/en\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MConcept <\/a>service: this is a concept, which, based on surveys and accessibility studies, geographically analyses the place of residence of employees in relation to the company\u2019s location, and proposes solutions to incentivise a switch from personal vehicles to alternative mobility. This service is offered free of charge by the Ministry of Mobility and Public Works.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Raising awareness and reminding people of the different travel options.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review of the pros and cons of each means of transportdes avantages et inconv\u00e9nients de chaque moyen de transport.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Find the suitable mobility solution to guarantee the company\u2019s work-related travel and services<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Offer a public bike rental subscription to employees (Vel\u2019OH! in Luxembourg City and in the neighbouring municipalities, or V\u00ebl\u2019Ok in Esch-sur-Alzette).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Convert existing parking spaces into spaces reserved for bicycles, carpooling or electric vehicles only.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide electric bikes or scooters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Offer electric bike or scooter leasing options.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remind employees of the State subsidies regarding active mobility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Offer additional company support to help finance equipment related to soft mobility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Draw up a transport charter defining the basis on which employees must use available transport for business travel based on distance and accessibility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Offer employees to rent\/share one or more cars from the company\u2019s fleet for their private travel, at a reasonable price (evenings or weekends).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide the option of video conferencing for meetings that do not necessarily require physical observation and encourage teleworking once a week when possible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Take advantage of sustainable transport services (e.g. train)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When planning relocation, take into consideration the distances and the site\u2019s soft mobility accessibility for the employees\u2019 business travel and home-work commute.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"type-numerotation\"><span class=\"type-numerotation-span visually-hidden\"><\/span>State subsidy application<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-light-green-background-color has-background\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p>Inform residents that they can <a href=\"https:\/\/guichet.public.lu\/en\/citoyens\/aides\/transport\/transports-individuels\/deduction-mobilite-durable-velo.html\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/guichet.public.lu\/en\/citoyens\/aides\/transport\/transports-individuels\/deduction-mobilite-durable-velo.html\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">apply for a subsidy for the purchase of a pedelec25 or a bicycle<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Subsidy available to individuals residing in Luxembourg for the purchase of a new bicycle or electrically assisted pedal bicycle (pedelec25) amounting to 50% of the purchase price excluding VAT, without however exceeding \u20ac600.
