The exercise also includes identifying the age of the equipment. It gives the energy efficiency class and indicates the energy consumption for 1,000&nbsp;hours of operation in kilowatt-hours (kWh).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Power management settings for computers in the &#8220;Group Policy&#8221;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Integrate the various parameters (e.g. sleep mode) into your company&#8217;s Group Policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Making employees aware of the need to use IT equipment economically<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Guide employees in best practice\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Adjusting screen brightness<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Setting the stand-by and energy-saving functions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deactivation of superfluous functions, e.g. WiFi, Bluetooth, mobile phone network, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Use peripheral devices economically, e.g. printers, photocopiers, plotters, scanners, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-light-green-background-color has-background\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-green-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-55871ffa747a6cddd0332b614eb9b103\"><strong><strong>Other useful energy-saving tips:<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Avoid using unnecessary screens<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Systematically monitor the energy consumption of IT equipment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Encourage devices to be configured at company level, e.g. standby, energy-saving functions, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Power the computer system using power strips, so that all devices are disconnected simultaneously when not in use. (Be careful not to exceed the maximum power rating of the power strip).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"type-numerotation\"><span class=\"type-numerotation-span visually-hidden\"><\/span>Subsidy application<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>Government subsidies<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-light-green-background-color has-background\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p class=\"has-green-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-84beb9f3956b31b65474c09246582de8\"><strong>Attention: incentive effect to be complied with when applying for subsidies (state or otherwise) and subject to meeting the eligibility conditions.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To respect the &#8220;incentive effect&#8221;, no binding commitment (signing a quotation; paying a deposit) may be made BEFORE submitting the application file or receiving the agreement in principle from the State or the electricity and natural gas supplier following a subsidy application.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/guichet.public.lu\/en\/entreprises\/financement-aides\/regime-sme-packages\/soutien-pme\/sme-packages-sustainability.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><u><strong>SME Packages &#8211; Sustainability<\/strong><\/u><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Financial Aid for small and medium-sized enterprises covering up to 70% of eligible costs for the implementation of a project aimed at reducing the environmental impact. The eligible project budget must be in a range from 3.000 \u20ac to 25.000 \u20ac excl.
